Gallery RAW was an inaugural participant in the Renew Newcastle concept.
Under the terms of the Renew Newcastle agreement, the property owners could, with a months notice, reclaim their properties for commercial rental. This happened to us at our original Hunter street location in 2009 and after a six month break we were allocated the King street property, which did not result in it being a viable operation due to poor exposure to passing foot trafficand atrocious car parking availability. The bricks and mortar gallery has now been closed and we will continue with an on-line version until another premises hopefully comes available.
We deeply regret this sad descision, for during the time that we ran the gallery at both locations we met some amazing people.
To the regular visirors we thank you for your patronage and to the many people who held exhibitions with us over the time
we appreciate your support and wish you the best with your photographic endeavours.
